As I plan for the new year, I am pondering the areas of life where I would like to “restart” or “press on” where habits already established. One of these areas is to continue being intentional in learning how to be a faith filled grandparent. With that in mind, I’ve discovered and will share here, seven devotionals for women that I believe would be great for those of us with grandchildren!

I’ve been thinking about the words ‘starting over’ and how they are sometimes so discouraging – did I really just use a tablespoon of salt instead of a teaspoon in that recipe? Or did I really just lose that document I’ve spent hours working on?
However, as a person of faith, those same words bring me such great hope! Not just for one second chance, but another, and another… God’s mercies are truly new every morning. How amazing to be given an opportunity to start over.
Instead of focusing on the negative, let’s head into the new year (and each new day) with an anticipation of good things to come. Devotionals are a wonderful way grandparents can deepen their faith and a way to spend quality time with grandchildren.
